HOW DOES THE STORE WORK?
We are a super small company, so have set up our store and distribution to be as simple as possible for the customer, and for us to maintain it. Currently each product link will take you to our ‘checkout’ page. The checkout page has options to add loads of other products below your basket, or to swap your basket with a complete bundle by scrolling up. If you return from checkout to the main website, your basket will not remember your order - so it is best to add multiple items when you are in the checkout. If you are interested in more than one item, please check out our bundle page as we have discounted these even further!
DO I NEED A FULL VERSION OF KONTAKT TO USE RATTLY AND RAW INSTRUMENTS?
All instruments require a full version of the LATEST version of KONTAKT to run (currently 5.8 or greater - All version 6 and higher are great too). They WILL work in the free player, but only in a time-limited demo mode (15 mins). Please check on the product page to be sure of the requirements before purchase!
CAN I USE THESE SAMPLES IN MY COMMERCIAL PRODUCTIONS?
YES! When buying our instruments you get a single-user license to go nuts with these sounds! That being said please see the terms and conditions that accompany each sale for specifics. It's pretty much common sense anyhow, basically make music, have fun, but don't repackage our stuff and try to sell it!
WHY ARE YOUR PRODUCTS PRICED SO LOW?
We really want to be able to offer some insane value in these crazy times. These products have been made alongside using them in commercial sessions so that flexibility has allowed us to keep the prices down too. We're also hoping that these low low price points might be a tipping point for people to buy rather than just download for free...
HOW DO I INSTALL MY RATTLY AND RAW PRODUCTS?
Just unzip the file from the link we send you and put it in your current main KONTAKT samples folder. If you don't have one, just put the unzipped folders wherever you like and point KONTAKT to them through the 'FILES' tab within KONTAKT itself (click on the picture to the left to see what this looks like!).
THESE WILL NOT SHOW UP AS KONTAKT LIBARIES! Sample library producers have to arrange a special (incredibly expensive) deal with NI in order to create official libraries for KONTAKT.
I’M ON A PC AND THIS AWESOME INSTRUMENT IS TAKING AN INSANE TIME TO LOAD!!
This is almost certainly due to windows encyrpting the files. They will appear GREEN in your explorer window. Unfortunately it’s not due to our products BUT we can help - the fix is as follows:
“Right-click the green folder, and choose Properties
Click the Advanced button In the Advanced Attributes window that pops up, UNCHECK the “Encrypt contents to secure data” checkbox. Click OK, and when it asks if you’d like to apply this change all files in the folder, say YES. Do Not Encrypt That’s it. When it’s done, your folder/files will no longer be green and they will no longer be encrypted. This may take a while, but then the instrument will function properly!
